Emerald City Applause Award {Best Wedding Under $25,000}

I am thrilled to announce that one of my favorite weddings of the year has won Simply Wed the honor of an Emerald City Applause Award! The wedding of Shrutika and Dan at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery this past March was a wonderful Indian celebration - and one that proved that creativity and style can make any wedding budget look like a million! Roche Harbor Wedding {Kristen & Ariel} 10.10.10

This is just a teeny sneak peek at the wonderfulness and gorgeousness that this couple exuded on their wedding day. Kristen and Ariel are friends-of-friends that I've known for years, and it was such a special joy to be able to assist them in making their wedding day dreams come true at Roche Harbor Resort on San Juan Island. The whole event had a European-Scandinavian look to it - using all greens and herbs and antiques for decor - and an insane family-style meal that I don't think anybody in attendance will soon forget.
