Creative Inspirations {Alternative Entertainment}

Who says wedding entertainment has to be limited to a band or DJ? I love the idea of having some sort of "surprise" element at a wedding to make it memorable and exciting for the guests, and it doens't have to be cheesy! At the wedding of Ashley and Andrew in 2007 I found a breakdancing team to act as guests, then bust a move to get the dance floor hopping. The groom had always harbored dreams of being a "real" breakdancer, so this was his chance. He sported his white Adidas and busted a move with the pros! Check it out...photos by Paul Joseph Brown.

Creative Inspirations {Launch}

One of the things I like to think sets Simply Wed apart is our sense of creativity. Having a past in art and fashion definitely comes into play when I am brainstorming all sorts of new and fun ideas for weddings. Why not think outside the box? So I am starting the first of an ongoing blog series titled Creative Inspirations. Hopefully it will inspire some of you to do something FUN on your wedding day!

Welcome to the Blogging World

Well, I've finally given in...it's time to start blogging about all things fabulous and wedding-y! I love what I do and I always enjoy sharing wonderful wedding stories, so here's goes nothin!

I am proud to say that I was recently interviewed and featured on NWsource.com in an article about dogs in weddings. Since my husband Seth and I had our own dog, Macie, in our wedding it was a perfect topic to discuss my thoughts on. I've done it several times since then, and I always love working with my clients favorite pooches. Enjoy!
